Airplants and Succulents

Succulents make incredible plants for small spaces, or when grown together in a vessel! They have very minimal requirements for healthy
growth and can thrive with just a little water and sunlight! Extremely varied in size, shape, and color - there’s a succulent for everyone!

Plant Care and Soil

Houseplants require just as much attention and care as those that grow and flourish outside. To maintain these plants, be sure to take into consideration light and watering requirements - and feed them with appropriate plant food/fertilizers! Making sure your plants are in high-quality, well-draining pots/containers is also incredibly important. BCG has everything you need to maintain your houseplants!

There are many different types of fertilizers on the market today. We recommend the water-soluble varieties because they are easy to use and satisfy your plant’s feeding requirements.

Light requirement guide

  • These plants prefer to not be in direct light, and only need a little light overall to thrive:

    • Pothos

    • Philodendron

    • Aglaonema

    • Peace Lily

    • Dracaena

  • These plants need moderate Light – Some sunlight is needed for plant growth. A west window or slightly shaded south window will do.
    Diffused Light – A bright location without direct sun is also great for most of these:

    • Dieffenbachia

    • Boston Fern

    • Belle Palms

    • English Ivy

    • Schefflera

  • These plants need Direct Sun – the maximum light that can be provided to a specific plant. Its best location would be in an unblocked window facing south or east.

    • Ficus

    • Croton

    • Cordyline

    • Anthurium

    • Bird of Paradise
