Supporting North Carolina
During the holiday season of 2024, we pledged a portion of all fresh green sales (trees, wreaths, garlands, and swags) to supporting those in need - and we’re immensely grateful to the families in the Doylestown area for helping us support the workers, families, and farmers from the Western North Carolina Mountain region responsible for making this time of year so festive and special for so many in this area. Altogether, we raised $6,513 in 2024!
North Carolina produces most of the Fraser Firs used as Christmas trees and is the second largest Christmas tree producing state in the country, with 96% of the Christmas tree production based in the Western North Carolina Mountain region. All the fresh cut trees at Bucks Country Gardens come exclusively from North Carolina.
“For so many holiday seasons, the good people of North Carolina have provided joy to our customers year after year. Even as the people of North Carolina are attempting to recover from the devastation of Helene, they worked hard to send Christmas trees to Bucks County to brighten our homes during the holiday season,” said Tom Hebel, the President of Bucks Country Gardens. “Our hearts truly go out to the wonderful folks down in North Carolina and we sincerely hope our efforts let them know that we stand with them.”
