Landscape Construction Crew Leader: This individual will lead one of our Landscape Design/Build Crews. Candidates must be goal oriented, and results driven with a proven track record of good problem-solving skills. Duties will involve all phases of construction of hardscape projects.  Candidate will have a high comfort level utilizing heavy equipment such as skid steer, excavator, forklift, and/or front-end loader.  Candidate should be comfortable driving larger trucks with trailers.  Must have the ability to communicate well with both landscape designers and homeowners.  Must be able to read and interpret landscape plans & drawings. Strong leadership skills required.  Standard driver’s license required, a Commercial Driver’s License required.  Minimum 2 years experience in landscape construction and installation.

• Starting at $35/hr

• Install patios, walkways, decks, and structures

• Operate skid loaders, excavators, and other machinery

• Lead and motivate a 2–3 person crew

As a Landscape Installation Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing landscape installation projects from start to finish. You will supervise a crew, ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications, and maintain a high standard of quality and professionalism on site.

Candidates must be goal-oriented and results-driven with a proven track record of exceptional problem-solving skills. Candidates need a high comfort level operating larger trucks, trailers, and typical landscaping equipment.

Must have the ability to communicate well with both designers and homeowners. Must have valid standard driver’s license and reliable means of transportation. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the landscape industry and 2 years of crew leader experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a crew on residential and commercial landscape installation projects.

• Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints and construction drawings.

• Operate machinery including skid steers, mini excavators, and other landscape equipment.

• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure project expectations are met.

• Ensure daily tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site.

• Train and mentor crew members, promoting a positive team environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 Years Experience in landscape installation or construction.

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a landscape or construction crew.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.

• Comfortable and experienced operating equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and supervisors.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50+ pounds as needed.

• Ability to work Monday-Saturday as work-load dictates.

· Loading and unloading nursery, furniture, and warehouse deliveries.

· Transporting and delivering merchandise to clients in a safe and timely manner.

· Delivering items to different addresses and through different routes.

· Following routes and time schedules, ensuring merchandise is delivered undamaged.

· Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure they are accurate and complete.

· Operating equipment typical of the position.

· Assisting managers and coworkers as needed.

· Completing projects/tasks accurately in a timely manner.

· Using your skills, common sense, and initiative to address any problems that may arise.

· Participating in team huddles, company meetings and outings.

· Maintaining the organization of the warehouse and surrounding area.

· Keeping a clean and safe work environment, including worksite and equipment.

· Upholding Bucks Country Gardens’ appearance and cleanliness standards.

· Participating in Garden Center promotions and events, including Open Houses.

· DOT Medical Card is required for Driving of Vehicles.

· A clean driving record is required.
