Refund Policy

Everyday Items: 

Everyday item returns are considered general merchandise, not specific to a holiday or event. These items can be returned for a full refund in form of original payment or exchange of full value within 30 days of purchase. These items must be in their original packaging, free from any damage. BCG Garden club members do not need receipt so long as the item was purchased under their membership number. Any item not purchased under the membership number requires a receipt to be eligible for refund. Electrical items that have been used are not refundable unless there is a manufacturer defect. Damaged or broken items beyond reasonable use are not eligible for refund. Customers wishing to return damaged or broken items that have been determined to be a manufacturer defect will receive store credit or exact exchange of item. Any item purchased at a discount of 50% or greater is considered clearance and final sale. No refunds on clearance items. Labor and Delivery fees are non-refundable if the delivery or labor has been completed. 

  

Special Orders: 

Special order item returns are considered non-inventoried merchandise, ordered specifically for a customer. These items are not eligible for refund and are considered final sale. Special Order items that arrive damaged or defective will be replaced per the manufacturer’s warranty. Any item purchased at a discount of 50% or greater is considered clearance and final sale. No refunds on clearance items. 

 

Trees, Shrubs, Perennials & Annuals: 

Most trees, shrubs & perennials are purchased with a 1-year warranty. Annual, Tropical, Aquatic and Indoor plants are warrantied for 30 days. The warranty is doubled with the BCG Garden club membership. There are specific varieties that are excluded from the warranty and will be noted on your receipt. Our warranty includes a one-time replacement of the item for equal value of the original purchase. The warranty does not cover the cost of delivery. Returns of any plant material will follow the everyday item policy. Any special ordered plants will follow the special-order policy. Any item purchased at a discount of 50% or greater is considered clearance and final sale. No refunds on clearance items. Any plant that has been left in its original pot/unplanted for longer than 14 days from date of purchase will not be warrantied and is considered non-refundable. 

 

Soils, Mulch & Stone: 

Bagged mulch, soil or stone follows the everyday item return policy. The bag must be unopened and not damaged in anyway. Opened bags do not qualify for refund or exchange unless there is a manufacturer defect. Bulk items are not available for refund or exchange once the product leaves our facility. Any item purchased at a discount of 50% or greater is considered clearance and final sale. No refunds on clearance items. 

 

Holiday or Event Items: 

Holiday items include items specifically marketed or designed for an event or holiday. This includes but not limited to, Valentines, Mother’s Day, Independence Day, Father’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, among many others. Returns of these items must be made at minimum 10 days prior to the given holiday date. Returns and exchanged will not be accepted after, except for items with a gift receipt. Gift receipt items must be exchanged within 30 days after the given holiday date. Any item purchased at a discount of 50% or greater is considered clearance and final sale. No refunds on clearance items. 

Furniture: 

Any in-stock furniture may be returned or exchanged for full value of original purchase. A 20% restocking fee will be assessed on returns only. Exchanges are exempt from restocking fees. Any item purchased at a discount of 50% or greater is considered clearance and final sale. No refunds on clearance items.
